Goodbye, old friend

It has been our constant companion for more than two months, hanging out with us in the living room while we watch TV or  in the kitchen when I cook; sitting on the end of the dining room table when we eat; and even accompanying us in the car on the way to camp or other excursions like sporting events and amusement parks. I think it even came to church a couple of times. It is my son's summer math packet. And now, in a mere 10 hours, having only just been completed, it will take its last journey before it reaches its final destination: the Middle School.
